Reminder:  You do not have to be a presenter to attend SLSA 2019, but you do have to register for the conference. See our Registration page for a SLSA registration link.

Update Oct. 31, 2019: None of the fires around LA are near UC Irvine, and the prevailing winds are blowing most of the smoke and ash away from Irvine . Air quality is good, and you can track it here if you want up-to-date information. The LAX and Santa Ana airports are functioning normally.

Update Sept. 17, 2019:  The preliminary schedule of events is now up on our Schedules page. Note that conference registration at the regular rate has been extended to Monday, Sept. 30th.

Update August 1, 2019: The Program Committee is presently working on developing the conference schedule. It will be posted here as soon as it is finalized.

Update July 2019: All submissions to SLSA 2019 have been reviewed. If you submitted a proposal, you should by now have received an email notifying you of its status. If for some reason you have not, please contact  conference assistant Ivette Morales, slsaucirvine@gmail.com.
