FAQs

Q: Are the fires going to affect the conference?

A: Not unless new fires start up in Orange County in the coming week. Fortunately, as of Nov. 1, none of the fires around LA were near UC Irvine, and the prevailing winds have been blowing most of the smoke and ash away from Irvine. Air quality is good, and you can track it here if you want up-to-date information. The LAX and Santa Ana airports are functioning normally.
