Director & Associate Professor/Professor: Institute for Inclusive Health Research (UTSC)

Dear colleagues,

See below and attached for an exciting opportunity for mid- and later-career researchers at the University of Toronto’s Scarborough campus, home to Canada’s first baccalaureate program in Health Humanities and a growing national hub for arts-based health and wellness research.

In summary:
The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) invites applications for the position of Director of a new interdisciplinary Research Institute dedicated to research related to health and well-being. The successful candidate for the Director of the provisionally titled Institute for Inclusive Health Research (IIHR) will be eligible for a full-time tenure stream academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. And a bit of background: I lead one of the four “Clusters of Scholarly Prominence” mentioned in the ad, which is focused on community-engaged arts as a method for social wellness. It would be very exciting to have a colleague in our network in this new Directorship position!

Best wishes,
Andrea Charise.
