NARRATIVE, AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
APRIL 6-9, 2000, ATLANTA, GEORGIA
sponsored by: Emory University, the Georgia Institute of Technology,

the Society for the Study of Narrative Literature

The conference is an interdisciplinary forum to discuss all aspects of
narrative theory and practice. Papers on narrative in any genre,
period,
nationality, discipline or medium will be considered. The committee
especially welcomes topics involving cross-cultural perspectives or
interdisciplinary methods in such fields as anthropology, architecture,
education, geography, history, law, medicine, philosophy, religion,
science, sociology, and the arts. Presentations should be in English
and
the focus on narrative.
Submit two copies of an abstract (500 words) for a fifteen-minute
presentation and a one-page CV. Proposals for panels are encouraged.
Organizers should include a statement on the focus of the
panel, the name and vita of each participant, and abstracts for all
participants. A panel organizer may give a paper in the session
proposed.
We strongly encouraged submission by e-mail.
