Subject: Panel Proposal
Would anyone be interested in contributing a paper to a panel about the
way
'stimulus and response' is figured in different biomedical
disciplines? So
far, we have papers addressing this topic from the perspectives of
neuroscience and immunology.
If you are interested, please email a short abstract and title asap.
Kind regards,
Michelle Jamieson

Subject: April is the . . .
The recent flurry of panel-proposal discussions on the list does my
heart good.
As flowers begin to bloom and temperatures begin to rise, I am sure
that many on this list are performing the same annual ritual that I am:
cursing the academic calendar and the glut of activity that swamps us
every April.
In light of that, and in response to a few queries, we are happy to
announce that we are extending the deadline for panel and paper
proposals for next fall's SLSA meeting in Atlanta until June 1. By
all
means, if you are sitting on a proposal, feel free to submit it to the
organization website as soon as you can; but for those who would like
just a bit more time, relax and smell the flowers.
